Hawg Killing Time Again? Sooey! Sooey! ARKANSAS

In the old days, everybody had a hog they would fatten up for killing and curing the meat.  In the fall, it was "Hawg Killing TIME,"  Arkansas, lookout... we have a HUNGRY TIDE team ready for HOG MEAT!

I believe this Bama team is on a mission to finish the job from last year.  To come away from last year, punched in the mouth in the last two games because they didn't finish the games well... left a sour taste in their mouth.  But rest assured, Saban has this team salivating at finishing off the opponents.

First up on the SEC menu is the Arkansas Hogs, and though this may not sound "kosher"... Bama is ready to bring home the bacon!  First line of business is killing the Hogs aerial attack of the #1 passer in the country right now, Ryan Mallet.  He is streaky but he can burn a defense big time if he is allowed to throw with time.  I just have to believe however, that the hosses on the Bama defensive front are licking their "chops" to get at the hawgs!

To make sure that the game goes in Alabama's favor, I believe Saban is going to use ball control football with a mix of long down field strikes with the "pigskin" to stretch the D.

In the old days, when the hawg was cut and killed, it was then hung by a tree and scalded with boiling to remove its hair.  The rest was just carving out the meat.  While this sounds gruesome if today's society, it was a part of everyday country life here in Alabama and the south.  I remember my wife's 90 year old granddaddy telling jokes about putting the hogs eyeball in a friend's overalls without his knowledge and what a laugh that they got he discovered it!

Well get ready Pitrino!  Your SEC WEST TITLE hopes are going to DIE!  Saban has an "eye" for talent and Bama is loaded.   Watch out when you reach in your pocket of offensive tricks... cause you never know what you'll find... its hog killing time!

Sooey! Sooey!
