Four LSU Players Rule Ineligible

By

It has been reported by the New Orleans Times-Picayune that four LSU players including linebacker Tahj Jones and tight end Tyler Edwards have been ruled ineligible.

Jones is the only one who started so, this really shouldn’t be a huge loss for LSU, but it may affect them down the line when it comes to depth.

Edwards played in 39 games in three years with one start and one pass reception for 10 yards. He was often used as a blocker in multiple tight end sets.

The other two players linebacker D.J. Welter and offensive lineman Evan Washington, were sophomores.
