The No. 2 Alabama softball team moved their record to 13-0 as they swept the Bama Bash this past weekend.

The Tide held their opponents .179 batting average while outscoring them 33-12 and batting .346 for the tournament.

Bama was lead by tournament MVP Kaila Hunt who had a three-run shot yesterday in the Tide's victory 8-0 over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

Hunt along with Kayla Braud, Danae Hays and Amanda Locke made the all-tournament team.

The Tide will host the Easton Alabama Invitational this weekend. Bama will welcome Maryland, Massachusetts and UAB to Rhoads Stadium. The Crimson Tide will open the tournament against Maryland on Friday, March 2.
