Bama Players In the NBA

By

A lot of Bama basketball fans may be wondering how are some of our favorite former Tide players are doing in the NBA?

Well here is just a short "Where are they now?" list to keep fans posted on how their former favorite players are doing.

Alonzo Gee

Gee is becoming a star with the Cleveland Cavaliers playing almost 30 minutes a game while averaging 3.8 rebounds, 9.8 points and making almost 50 percent of his shots from the floor. His best game of the season so far came against the Toronto Raptors when he had 15 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Gee played with the Tide from 2006-2009.

Gerald Wallace

Wallace, who is entering his 10th season in the NBA, is now playing for the Portland Trailblazers.

Wallace still continues his consistent play averaging 14.2 points and 6.7 rebounds thus far season. Like Gee, he is also shooting almost 50 percent from the field (49.8 percent). Wallace showed everyone he still had it when he scored 31 points and had five rebounds against the LA Lakers back in January.

Wallace played for the Tide back in 2001.

Mo Williams

Since leaving the Cavaliers, Mo Williams has restablished himself as one of the best point guards in the NBA. Williams is averaging 13.6 points and 3.5 assists per game while help leading the LA Clippers to a two game lead lead in Pacific over the LA Lakers. Williams is shooting 45.6 percent from the floor this year and has been in double-digits for points in 19 of his first 24 games this season.

Williams played with the Tide from 2002-2003.
