This week is the week of national signing day. It will be on February 3. Alabama has an outstanding class coming in. Many recruiting services are predicting this class to be a top five class in the nation. While we Alabama fans may be spoiled to the fact that we have had two number one classes in a row, we can people be proud to know that this class fulfills the needs of the Alabama football team. Some of the top needs of this class include the secondary and special teams.

You won't find a lot of last-second drama this year as in years past because this year's class is filled up almost with about about two more spots. This depends on whether or not Keenan Alan stays in the class were goes with his half-brother (transfer QB from Buffalo) to Clemson University.  There will be one more spot if he does.

It seems like every year that recruiting is happening earlier and earlier in the career of a high school football player. Saban started the trend way back at LSU, and now has continued to do so at the University of Alabama.

Look for next year's recruiting class to be extremely talented, as the staff has already started recruiting in earnest as the national championship title will help get the attention of the top talent in America. Who knows? Maybe next year we'll get another recruiting national championship. However keep in mind that this year's national championship was won in part with players from Mike Shula's number 16 recruiting class.

Nick Saban is masterful at molding football talent and with a level of physical talent we have coming in this year and in the last two years, Alabama is good to go for quite a while.
