The rumors of AJ McCarron's injury is highly exaggerated. McCarron and head coach Nick Saban said so in an ESPN article.

"Rumors are rumors," he said. "I feel good, ready to go."

Saban called McCarron's injury a bruised knee and rumors to the contrary, ridiculous. He also didn't appreciate the rumors because it made the doctors and trainers looking after AJ look bad.

It took McCarron's mom Dee Dee Bonner to take to Twitter to shoot down her son's rumored injury. The rumor was started by a reporter on College Football News who appeared on Paul Finebaum's show this week who said he had sources that told him that McCarron had a tear in his knee.
