Missouri Wants To Be This Year’s Iowa State

By

Everyone remembers T.J. Moe’s comments about playing in the SEC back in July:

“That's what I hear,” Moe said. “They've also got prettier girls, the air is fresher and the toilet paper's thicker.”

Moe didn’t think he and his Missouri teammates would have a problem adjusting to SEC play, but so far they haven’t adjusted at all.

The last loss that the Tigers have suffered was a 19-15 loss to Vandy which seems to have dampened the sprits of the team, but they look at this weekend as an opportunity.

“How many people get an opportunity to play a team like Alabama? The way our season is going, it’s our opportunity to be an Iowa State of last year. Somebody does it every year: knock off the No. 1 team. It would definitely be an upset.”

We’ll see if Missouri can turn this opportunity into the biggest upset of the season as they host No. 1 Alabama. To read more about Moe’s comments, check out this link from AL.com
