Missouri QB To Be OUT Of Bama Game

By

Well, there goes Nick Saban’s talk with the media on how good of a team Missouri is.

If you are a reporter covering Alabama football, this is probably bad news for you. It was announced Saturday by Missouri that starting quarterback James Franklin will not play this weekend against Alabama due to an injury to his knee.

Franklin apparently sprained his knee in a loss to Vanderbilt. According to Missouri beat writer Dave Matter, Saturday night, Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel said this: Strained MCL for James Franklin, out two weeks.

Missouri was struggling with Franklin, but at least with them they had a pretty good chance. We will see how the Tiger will do against that Alabama defense without him.
