Bama Easily Dominates Wolverines 41-14

Dominate and take no prisoners; that’s the attitude this Alabama football team seem to have taken last night against Michigan as they defeated the Wolverines 41-14.

The Crimson Tide made it look almost too easy taking a 31-7 lead at the half. After a slow start in the first series of the game, the Tide didn’t look back.

How did Alabama take the lead, start with the play of quarterback AJ McCarron. While everyone seem to be focused on Denard Robinson, McCarron showed the rest of the country why he is a national champion.

He didn’t miss a beat. He threw two touchdown passes in the first half, one of them a 51-yarder to a wide open DeAndrew White.

Next, the Bama running game lead by TJ Yeldon took no prisoners. Yeldon had over a 100 yards and one touchdown in the victory, while Eddie Lacy added a touchdown and Jalston Fowler made some noise as well.

To add insult to injury, the Tide’s young secondary look like a bunch of veterans early on holding Michigan to under 100 yards rushing, and they kept Robinson in check.

Robinson did have a couple a moments in the game in busted coverage for the Tide, but it wasn’t enough and quite frankly, it wasn’t close.

The defense dominated most of the night and Robinson never got a chance to show why he was a Heisman Trophy contender.

An impressive way to start the season for the Tide, but there are some things Coach Saban will point to that the team will have to work on before next week’s game against Western Kentucky, but that shouldn’t be a surprise to most Bama fans.

The scary part is, as good as the Tide looked, how better can they get? We’ll see in the coming weeks.
