Kouandjio Ready To Get Back To Work

By

Chase Goodbread, who writes for tidesports.com, wrote an interesting article on the return of Cyrus Kouandjio. Kouandjio, who earned a starting position last year on the offensive line, got hurt during the Tennessee game and was out the rest of the season.

Kouandjio talks about his injury, rehabbing with his brother and how it feels to be back with the team this summer.

“I really needed the extra time in the summer to get to 100 percent,” Kouandjio said. “I was about 85 to 90 percent going to spring. I feel good now.”

Kouandjio said his brief experience last year really did help him with his confidence.

“It (the UT game) was pretty valuable because it gave me a taste of how SEC football is and how to play in front of 100,000 people, and it gave me a little bit of experience, which is what I need to play at this level this year,” Cyrus said.
