Just watched an interesting video from the ESPN Film Room series. They talk about the progressions that AJ McCarron goes through and the way that Alabama likes to pack it in on their formations a lot & therefore creating wide open spaces on the outside. This is not new information, but it is a nice breakdown of what Alabama likes to do. McCarron is shown in one clip in the championship game where he is looking at the tight end the whole time. The play fails, so hopefully he will learn to go through his progressions every time in the upcoming season.
