Bama Sends Georgia Recruit 105 Letters In ONE Day

By

If Georgia fans wonder why some of their top recruits are crossing state lines, one only has to look at the case of Norcross High School junior running back Alvin Kamara.

The Atlanta running back received 105 letters in one day from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide coaching staff.

While some players may be annoyed by that many letters sent in one day, Kamara was impressed.

“Yeah, I got home and they were failing out of my mailbox,” Kamara said told the AJC newspaper. “It was crazy but I liked it.”

While Kamara isn’t sold on the Tide yet, their persistence didn’t hurt.

“It’s cool when a school shows that much interest in you,” Kamara said. “It definitely caught my attention. But they’re not my favorite college yet or anything like that. I just thought it was cool they’re showing me that much attention.”

What is also impressive is that each letter was different; no two were the same. Each pointed out different qualities to Kamara about the tradition of Alabama football.

Other college football coaches can take note on how Saban gets the best recruits in the country.
