On the Road to the 14th National Championship: Game 6 Vanderbilt

By

Normally when the Tide faces the Vanderbilt Commodores it goes something like this: Vandy stays in the game early before the Tide pulls away; this game no exception.

Although the Tide had a14-0 lead at the half lead by passing of one AJ McCarron who had a career high four touchdown passes, the Tide really turned it on in the second half.

McCarron would throw two more touchdown passes and running back Trent Richardson would run for 107 yards as the Tide would shut out the Dores 34-0.

The play of the game had to be when Dee Milliner intercepted a Jordan Rodgers (brother of Aaron) pass for touchdown to preserve the shutout.
