Trent Richardson Comes in 3rd in Heisman
ByIt is a great honor just to be in the top 5 for the Heisman, Trent Richardson topped that, coming in at #3. Just a couple weeks ago, Trent Richardson was the frontrunner to carry out the Heisman trophy, but it wasn't to be this year.
Robert Griffin, III won the most coveted trophy in college football with Andrew Luck coming in second.
The stats on the voting:
Griffin - 405 first-place votes and 1,687 points.
Luck - 247 first-place votes and 1,407 points
Trent Richardson - 138 first-place votes & 978 points
Robert Griffin had a great year, and the highlight reel throw to allow Baylor to beat Oklahoma seemed to seal the deal. He was the highest rated passer (192.3 efficiency rating) in college football and led Baylor to an improbable 9-3 season & a 15th ranking.
Now to focus on a national championship.
