Outside the Mark Richt to TAMU rumor, the most interesting rumor I heard today was former Alabama coach Mike Shula, might be the new offensive coordinator at Florida.
Reports from Gator beat writer Robbie Andreu say that Florida head coach Will Muschamp is very interested in Shula. Now, keep in mind folks Shula is the quarterback coach of Cam Newton with the Carolina Panthers and he also recruited and almost landed Tim Tebow while he was the Bama head coach, so I wouldn’t be surprise if he lands there; but still Mike Shula?

After seeing what he did in Tuscaloosa, do you think Florida fans will be excited about him as their OC? I doubt it and I like Mike Shula, but given the fact that he struggled while being a head coach, I’m not sure if he can handle the pressure and expectations in Gainesville.
