Former Alabama & Oakland Raiders star linebacker, Rolando McClain, was arrested Thursday in Decatur Alabama on a misdemeanor assault, firearms, and various other charges.

In a statement released by Lt. John Crouch of the Decatur Police Department, the victim said that "he begged McClain not to shoot him and that McClain took the gun away from his head, held it next to his ear and fired it.”

McClain's attorney is saying that McClain is innocent of the charges.

McClain was in in his hometown for his grandfather's funeral.
