Alabama landed another star from the sunshine state today when star receiver Amari Cooper committed to play for the Crimson Tide.

A member of the ESPN 150 and the Rivals 100, Cooper has been a highly recruited star receiver at Miami Northwestern High School.

The 6-foot-1, 185 pound receiver chose Alabama over a host offers.  His other two finalists were Florida State and West Virginia.

With Amari’s commitment, Coach Nick Saban continues his amazing success in the state of Florida.  Eddie Williams, the nation’s #1 safety from Panama City, has chosen the Crimson Tide.  Chris Black, the #3 high school receiver in America, will join them in Tuscaloosa next year.
