The sack is one of the most awesome plays that can really reverse the momentum of a football game. Who can ever forget Cornelius Bennett sacking Steve Beuerlein?

I can tell you this.. Nick Saban isn't so impressed by sacks as an indicator of defensive success and he wasn't happy about meddia questioning him about his defensive front not getting to the QB on Saturday against the Mean Green. There were ZERO sacks for our D against North Texas. He says that "affecting" the QB is just as good as having a quarterback sack in the stat book.
