Alabama's walk-on sophomore defensive back Will Lowery is one of 55 nominees for the Rudy Award.  If you have ever seen the movie, Rudy, you know what this award is about. It recognizes walk-on players that make a mark on their team as well as community by recognizing character, contribution, courage, and commitment. Lowery walked on at Alabama from Hoover High School. He has been been a key contributor to the Alabama secondary and special teams this year.

Fan voting is over 7 p.m. CST Monday. So far, Will Lowery is tied for the lead. On the day after voting is completed, the 3 finalists will be announced. On January 11, the winner will be awarded.  Fans who want to vote for Lowery can visit College Rudy Awards.com to vote. Each fan is allowed a maximum of one vote per day.
