The pulse of the the Alabama nation has been taken. Alabama fans are more in-favor of Auburn losing than rooting for a fellow SEC team. Hatred runs deep in the heart of dixie when it comes to the Iron Bowl, and the vitriol continues to flow even after 2 weeks after the greatest rivalry game in football.

In an unscientific poll taken today, we asked the question, "Do you want Auburn to beat Oregon for the national championship?"

Alabama fans had three choices:

• HECK NO! I HATE AUBURN
• YES! I want Auburn to Represent the State of Alabama & SEC Well!
• I don't care one way or the other what the the Aubarn does..

The answer may or may not surprise many. Here are the results out of the first 100 votes:

• 51% - HECK NO! I HATE AUBURN
• 39% - YES! I want Auburn to Represent the State of Alabama & SEC Well!
• 10% I don't care one way or the other what the the Aubarn does..

There you have it. The majority of Alabama fans are going to be rooting for the BIG QUACKS on January 10, 2011. At least the ones who took this survey!
