Much like the 1990s, Alabama and Florida has been a big match-up in the last few years. This weekend the drama continues as Alabama meet at Bryant Denny for the first time since the 32-13 beat-down of the Tebow-led Gators in the 2009 SEC Championship.

Alabama was hyped up for that game and the result was a trip to the national championship game in which they also won. The game this week will definitely be a measuring stick to the capabilities of both teams to enter into this year's SEC & national championship games.

The stakes are high and Alabama got a rude wake up call to the SEC by the fiesty Razorbacks of Arkansas. I believe it was the perfect situation for an Alabama team that was seemingly like a cat toying with mice like Duke, Penn State, & San Jose State. The SEC is no cake-walk from the bottom up, and you have to be ready every week.
