Some pretty good television match-ups to check out this weekend from the SEC.  Games like

  • Steve Spurrier welcoming his alma mater to his golfing oasis.
  • Lil' Wayne's Hip Hop Coach (Kiffin) butting heads with with the Ole Miss "Rebels" who are trying to distance themselves from their racist past by banning one of their fight songs this week.
  • Auburn vs. Georgia in a sissy-fest to see who deserves the title of "Most Underwhelming & Underperforming SEC Team" between the 2 SEC divisions.
  • Clash of the "Perennial Losers" searching for a win by playing one another.
  • ..to another TV sighting of our beloved Tide

...so there should be plenty to entertain the SEC football loving masses.  Here is a list of those games you can check out on the tv this weekend of November 14, 2009.

Well it is. It will be on at 11:21 a.m. (CST) on October 3, 2009 on the SEC Network. It will be an away game for the Crimson Tide, for they will be playing at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.

    This will be the 38th meeting between these two teams with Alabama holding a huge lead in the overall series at 34-2-1. Last year's game was a close one with Alabama winning 17-14. Alabama has won the last three match-ups against the Wildcats. It is interesting to note that this will be just the third trip to Lexington in 20 years.

    There will be several other top SEC games televised on Saturday, Oct. 3, including quite possibly the premier game (besides AL/KY) of LSU at Georgia (2:30 p.m. CST on CBS)
    Auburn at Tennessee also looking good that night(6:45 p.m. CDT on ESPN)
