It is a beautiful painting, but this painting has to be the ultimate splurge for the Alabama fan. It is very rare being #14 out of only 15 made by painter Daniel Moore. "The Sack" depicts the bone crushing tackle that Cornelius Bennett put on Notre Dame's quarterback Steve Beuerlein back in 1986. Link to it below!

This painting is not for the faint at heart! You have to be a real die-hard Alabama fan with money to burn! The size of this painting is 6 ft 4 in Wide and 4 ft 8 in in Height and the ebay listing says it is mint condition! Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

The poster said it would be good displayed in a box suite or game room. For that much money, it would be in a vault for me... no worry, however, I dont have that much money anyway! In a game room, my kids would stick a pool stick through it!

Alabama Defensive Star On Rise

There is a new player emerging in the Alabama defensive front who is making a statement for the Tide each and every game.  He is 6-foot-4, 296-pound DE Marcel Dareus. 

He is a special player who seems to have a knack for making the big plays and laying the wood on the opponent.   He came in last year and played some but started showing some his powerful game-changing abilities to take off in the 2009 A-Day game where he recorded 6 tackles and a sack.  

With the gunshot injury to Deaderick and the strong growth in his game, Marcel is playing a prominent role in the Alabama defensive rotation.  He has all the tools and has wow his teammates in practice.  This year he already has 3.5 sacks and 17 tackles and has hurried the opposing QB too many times to count.   When he hits, you can hear it in the stands.  The video below will attest to that. 

I believe we will see Dareus have a big game against South Carolina.  Look for #57 tomorrow!

Mount Cody is one of the most exciting players on the Alabama football team. At over 350 pounds, he is most definitely a force to be reckoned with as opposing offenses try to keep him out of the backfield. Check out this leap like Superman as this mountain flys over a "Mallet" following an Arenas sack. You can't say more about the big fella but that he is simply amazing! Word is that he can dunk a basketball pretty nicely as well! Mountains can fly... check out this video and see it happen!
