This little clip came from ESPN's All Access where they take viewers to the behind-the-scenes preparations as well as shenanigans. For Alabama fans (and college football fans in general), this makes for some great TV.

In case you're wondering who Robert Ezell is, he is a backup senior originally from Athens high school. He is 5-10 and 172 pounds and was originally a quarterback. It is possible that he could get in the games this fall on special teams as a place-kick holder where he is been spotted working in fall practices.

Even Nick Saban had the knowledge how funny that Rob Ezell is at imitating him, but he did go on to say that Rob didn't like to do it in front of coach. For some reason, I don't blame him!!

The famous country music group Alabama was famous for always staying to sign autographs until the last fan left after a concert. It wasn’t required, but it was a true gesture of appreciation that the boys from Fort Payne would show their fans on a regular basis.

It shouldn’t be too much to ask Alabama to give a good 2 hours of autographs & pictures to the fans that truly pay the bills at the Capstone. Alabama fans did not get individual pictures (although in the video below you see a fan get one in passing as Coach Nick Saban exits).

I normally don't rant against Alabama in any way... but come on, Mal Moore, think about the average Joe who drove from Huntsville or Mobile to be turned away at the last minute. I was a bit turned off by this time limit policy, but he... they did not ask me ...and it was painfully obvious that they did not ask the average Joe who was last in line, either.

Open practice will be in Bryant-Denny Stadium from 2:30-4:30 p.m. The players and coaching staff will be available for autographs following the 2 hour open practice session.

Fans can enter the stadium one hour prior to the opening of practice in the northwest spiral (gate 5) to beginning filling the lower bowl (sections A-N). After practice, fans wanting to participate in Alabama's Fan Day can enter the football field through gate 46 & exit via gate 5.

The fans that are not interested in viewing football practice can start lining up early at 1:30 p.m. The entrance for those fans will be at gate 46.

Because of prior commitments, the autograph session will be limited to 45 minutes. To expedite the process so that all the fans have a chance, only 1 autograph will be allowed and no posing pictures will be allowed.

After all the hubbub about the highly rated offensive lineman, Spencer Region (of Cullman, Alabama), choosing Auburn over Alabama, apparently he is thinking much better of that infamous choice.

Spencer Region is a very big offensive lineman who is highly recruited across the nation are. He is now looking hard again at schools like Alabama, Texas, in Georgia as well as Penn State and Wisconsin (while still keeping Auburn on the back burner).

One of the reasons that he is de-committing from Auburn and opening up his recruiting once again is due to the offensive style of football that he likes to play in.  He said that he likes to play "smash mouth football" and that "I'm not sure that Auburn's offensive scheme would be the best fit for me."

No doubt that he ate all the meat and potatoes that his mama cooked growing up.  He is a big boy at 6ft 6in and 340 pounds. He is a very strong offensive lineman who can bench 355 pounds and squats 540 pounds.

A lifelong Alabama football fan, the February commitment to Auburn surprised many. Just a month after publicly committing to Auburn, Region was spotted at the University of Alabama spring football practice and it now appears to have buyers remorse in choosing Auburn. 

Spencer Region started receiving a lot of attention after his junior season when he recorded 105 pancake blocks on the opposition like a man among boys. Considered one of the top offensive lineman in the nation, Region has been named a Under Armour High School All-American.

Regardless of his youthful mistake of choosing Auburn first, if he chose Alabama, he would still be brought in with open arms and accepted by the Alabama nation as one of our own.  Some people may not see it this way, but I feel like most real Alabama fans would like to see this big country boy from Cullman, Alabama opening big holes for the Alabama backfield and pass protecting in the near future.

Nick Saban is a popular figure on facebook, and the numbers point to the Alabama fans choosing him more than God to fan!  I know Alabama football is almost religion here in Alabama, but this seems to show how far it goes in the public realm.  Don't go looking for Nick Saban to come out and act like John Lennon when Lenin said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ.  That is just not going to happen.

According to Pete Warden, programmer behind  fanpageanalytics.com, most states in the south put God above football... but not in Alabama.  Florida was particularly high on Starbucks above God & Loiusiana was higher on the Saints than the Higher Power.

Here in Alabama, we love God, but we facebook fan Nick Saban more!  After all, we are erecting a graven image in his image for bringing home the coveted national championship crystal trophy to Tuscaloosa.  I am all for Nick Saban, but just don't get too carried away and treat the statue like the old testament golden calf.  After all, he is just human...lest we forget.  Bear Bryant would tell you that...

OK Bama fans...  the A-Day game has been announced.   It is going to be A-Day Game will be at 2 p.m. on April 17 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.   Practice is set to start on March 12 just before spring break. 

Hopefully, Alabama fans will turn out in droves like the biggest A-Day ever when attendance exceeded 92K+ fans with others waiting outside.  The place was electric that day for a spring that began the process which lead to this year's first championship of this century.
