Tide Spanks The Bullies

By

If this was a must win for the Mississippi State, they sure didn't play like it. The Bulldogs were dominated by the Crimson Tide 67-50. The Tide held State to a season low in points and was lead by a freshman.

Levi Randolph had 18 points, seven rebounds, four assist and three rebounds not to mention that Randolph had zero turnovers. JaMychal Green in his return had nine points along with Andrew Steel.

Bama, who was tied at the half, went on a huge run and lead by as many 20 in the second half. The bench outscored the Bulldogs 32-4 including shooting 71 percent from the three-point line while holding their opponent to 38 percent shooting.

The Tide (19-9, 8-6) has placed itself in solid position to make the NCAA Tournament and has sole possession of fourth place in the SEC. If the Tide remains in fourth place, they will have a bye in the SEC Tournament.

Next up for the Tide is their last home game of the season against the Auburn Tigers. It will also be senior night for Tide forward JaMychal Green.
