Tide RPI Still Stands At No. 37

By

Although the Crimson Tide has struggled at times without the services of JaMychal Green and Tony Mitchell, the Tide's RPI still stands at No. 37.

ESPN "bracketologist" Joe Lunardi still projects the Tide as a No. 10 seed in the NCAA tournament which sounds like the Tide will be one of the last four in the NCAA Tournament.

Alabama also stands at No. 37 in the WarrenNolan.com RPI standings, which are updated daily.

With four remaining games left in the season, the highest ranked RPI rated team would be Mississippi State at No. 59, but if State loses to Kentucky, their RPI could take a huge hit.

If State could pull the upset, that should move them up in the RPI and if Bama can win Saturday, that could put them in a very comfortable position for the NCAA Tournament.

If nothing else, the Tide at least needs to either split their next four games or win three out of four to give themselves a chance to get into the field of 68.

Do you think the Tide will make the NCAA Tournament field this year?
