I originally read the story in the Reader's Digest of Michael Oher, the Ole Miss offensive lineman who is now starting offensive tackle in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens after signing a 5 year, $13.8 million contract. It was one of the most memorable stories I ever read. Literally, his story is a rags to riches storybook tale that will tug on your heartstrings once you know all about how he went from homeless to a world filled with hope based on the generosity of his adopted family. I am sure the movie coming out is great, but I HIGHLY recommend reading the original story from Reader's Digest first ...or the book (I have not read it yet but plan to buy it below at Amazon.)
