Kiffin Reprimanded By SEC Monday

Lan Kiffin was reprimanded by the SEC today in regards to the officiating in the game against Alabama. Mississippi State's Dan Mullen was reprimanded Monday by the SEC home office for publicly criticizing officials. Three coaches have done this in just the last week.

For the "New Kid on The Block" Kiffin, this is the second time that he has been reprimanded for things he said by the SEC home office. There is a risk that the next time he steps out of line that he will face suspension.

On Sunday, Kiffin wondered why Alabama's Terrence Cody wasn't penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct when he removed and tossed his helmet after blocking a game winning field goal on the last play of Alabama's 12-10 victory in Tuscaloosa.

The final poke he jabbed at the SEC office when he said in regards to the letter of reprimand, "I'm sure we'll get one of those letters that really means nothing as Bobby got last week, but Florida and Alabama live on," he said Sunday.

The official statement from Slive was, "Coach Kiffin is on notice that for any further violations of SEC policies will subject him to additional penalties including suspension.."

My question is this...  why do we have so many "cry baby" coaches  around the SEC conference?  Jealousy maybe?  I am just glad that Slive is threatening "cry baby" coaches with suspensions since there are systems in place to air differences with officiating crews without taking stuff like this public.   It's all pretty childish in my opinion!
