Alabama's Athletic Department officially released a statement today to the media that cirfirms the fact that 5-star men's basketball signee, Trevor Lacey will be cleared academically to play this fall.  This news has been perculating for a few weeks online, however the athletic department finally confirmed it. 

The top 5 recruiting class now has all been officially confirmed to be playing  for Alabama this fall.  The future is bright for men's basketball, and practice begins in October.  The road to Alabama's return to excellence in men's basketball has been a long one, but we are soon going to be seeing Alabama compete for championships on a regular basis with the recruiting prowess of Anthony Grant leading the charge.

Its a legitimate thought for the first time in ages for Alabama men's basketball.  Trevor LAcey will bring a huge spark to the Alabama team this year.
