As preparations start up for Michigan this week, Nick Saban had his weekly news conference where his discusses his team’s mindset and he compares Michigan’s Denard Robinson to another running and passing quarterback- former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton.

“Our team had a good attitude about all the things we have asked ... but any 1st game, guys don't have same knowledge & experience,” said Saban

As for Robinson, Saban was singing his praises to the media and said he is “As significant player we've played against since Cam Newton at quarterback position.”

High praise from Coach Saban

He also compared his running skills to another famous athlete.

“This guy will ball fake you like Michael Jordan and take off running.”

After hearing what Saban said in his news conference, Robinson said he hopes he can live up to that expectation.
