AHSAA Approves Paige’s Move To Foley High

By

After several days of speculation on whether or not Darius Paige’s transfer would be approved, Foley High school coach Todd Watson confirmed that Paige will be allowed to play for his school.

Watson said he received a letter from the Alabama High School Athletic Association approving of Paige’s move.

“We are confident nothing has been done wrong, and the parents and the kid are doing it for the right reasons,” Watson said.

It was also announced today that former Tide recruit Reuben Foster transfer was approved as well.

A controversy occurred this week when the Atlanta Journal Constitution had reported that Foster was being investigated, by the NCAA, but it was later confirmed that it was the AHSAA that was interviewing Foster and his parents, not the NCAA.
