By

Alabama plays tonight verses LSU on its second SEC match-up. The Crimson Tide's domination of the Georgia Bulldogs continued last Saturday night as the Tide slammed UGA 74-59. It was a coming out party so to speak for freshman shooting guard Trevor Lacey who lead the Tide with 19 points. Tony Mitchell added 17 points and Trevor Releford had 12 points.

JaMychal Green in limited play, also had eight points. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope of Georgia led all-scorers with 22 points.

Lacey had 17 of his 19 points in the first half and he was 3 of 4 from the three-point line; the Tide was 6-17 overall from the three-point line.

The Tide led most of the game by double-digits in the first half, but the Bulldogs would cut the lead to four in the second half, but that was as close as they got. Bama would go on a run themselves to bring the lead back to 14 points to close out the game.

The Tide ended up shooting 52 percent from the floor and beating the Bulldogs easily on the boards 35-20.

The Tide will have their home SEC opener against LSU tonight at 7 p.m. It will be on ESPN3.com
