Several Tide Players Placed on AP All-American Team

The Alabama Crimson Tide was well represented on the Associated Press’ All-American team.

The Tide had the most first team All-Americans with four. Trent Richardson was joined by tackle Barrett Jones, linebacker Dont'a Hightower and safety Mark Barron. Tide linebackers Courtney Upshaw and corner Dre Kirkpatrick made the second team, giving Alabama the most players selected overall.

LSU was next with five players named to the team.
